Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Anza Driving School, we are committed to providing quality driver education and a transparent booking experience. Please review these policies before purchasing a driving lesson package. By booking a driving lesson, students acknowledge that they are responsible for reviewing and following these terms.

Refund Policy

1. Booking Before Payment

Students must book their driving lessons before making a payment. This allows Anza Driving School to coordinate instructor availability and schedule lessons appropriately. Students should complete their booking through the approved booking process before submitting payment.

2. Refunds Before Driving Lessons Begin

If a student has paid for a driving lesson package but decides not to proceed before taking any driving lessons, the student may request a refund. Approved refunds will be issued to the original credit card used for the payment. No Stripe processing fee will be deducted from the student's refund by Anza Driving School. Refunds will be returned to the original payment method and cannot be transferred to a different credit card or payment method.

3. Refunds After Driving Lessons Have Started

If a student begins taking driving lessons and later decides to discontinue the program, the student may request a refund of the remaining eligible balance. The following conditions apply:

• All completed driving lessons will be charged at the regular rate of $65 per hour.
• Package discounts, promotional pricing, and other discounted rates will not apply to completed lessons when calculating the refund.
• The total cost of completed lessons will be deducted from the amount originally paid.
• No Stripe processing fee will be deducted from the student's refund by Anza Driving School.
• Any remaining eligible balance will be refunded to the original credit card used for payment.

If a student pays $500 for a driving lesson package and completes 3 hours of driving lessons before requesting a refund, the calculation will be:

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, students should contact Anza Driving School and provide their name, booking details, and the payment information needed to identify the transaction. Each refund request will be reviewed according to this policy. Once approved, the refund will be issued to the original credit card used for payment. The time required for the refund to appear in the student's account depends on the payment processor and the student's financial institution.

Cancellation Policy

Anza Driving School reserves instructor time and vehicle availability for every scheduled driving lesson. To ensure fair scheduling for all students, the following cancellation rules apply.

1. 24-Hour Cancellation Requirement

Students must cancel or reschedule their driving lesson at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Students should contact Anza Driving School as soon as possible if they need to change their appointment. Cancellations and rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are considered late cancellations and are subject to the fee outlined below.

2. Late Cancellation and No-Show Fee

A $50 fee will apply in either of the following situations:

• Late cancellation: The student cancels or requests to reschedule less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
• No-show: The student fails to attend the scheduled appointment without providing the required notice.

The same $50 fee applies to both situations. This fee covers the instructor's reserved time and the opportunity lost to schedule another student.

3. Rescheduling a Driving Lesson

Students who need to reschedule must provide at least 24 hours' notice. All rescheduling requests are subject to instructor and vehicle availability. A new appointment is confirmed only when Anza Driving School approves the requested time.

4. Unexpected Circumstances

If an unexpected situation prevents a student from attending a lesson, the student should contact Anza Driving School as soon as possible. Any exception to the cancellation policy will be considered at the school's discretion, subject to applicable law.
